From Bugs
to Birthdays
We started out as mere bugs in the Antelope Valley, a
small area in north Los Angeles County. Andy (Grasshopper), Lisa
(Caterpillar) and Craig ("boy" Ladybug). We did not know each other
when we auditioned for The Ant and The Grasshopper, a children's play
being produced at Antelope Valley College in the Spring of 1994. We were
just theatre and science students that had been bitten by the "theatre
bug". However, by the time the children's show closed, we had become the
best of friends. We then continued to do more children's shows and other
performances and later earned our theatre and science degrees. That was
over 12 years ago.
So what are we doing now? The same thing, being a
bunch of bugs, playing and having fun, but now we do it for The Fun Science
Group. We "play" by entertaining and educating
children in the fun of SCIENCE!
...oh yeah, the Grasshopper and the
Caterpillar got married.
The Fun
Science Group is located
in both the San Diego and Los Angeles counties. Having entertained and
educated thousands of children in Southern California, it is our hope to
inspire, entertain and educate thousands more for years to come.
